Bradford - Leonard E. Comeau, 69, husband of Cynthia L. (Shaw) Comeau, pass away April 4, 2018 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen surrounded by his loving family.
 
 
Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Raymond L. and Rita F. (Panneton) Comeau. Raised and educated in Haverhill, he was a graduate of Haverhill Trade School. He obtained his Associates degree in Culinary Arts from Essex Agricultural School. Leonard served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged. He devoted his life to the food service industry, working at Three Fishlands, Sawyers Function Hall, Bradford Seafood, Bethany Homes, Oxford Manor and others. Leonard was a past Commander of AmVets Post 147. He enjoyed watching Notre Dame Football and was a big Bruins fan. Leonard loved fishing in local ponds, hunting and camping. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his loving wife Cynthia of 27 years, he is survived by his children, Michael L. Comeau and his wife, Amanda of Kansas City, MO., Tammy Comeau; Kimberly Comeau; his brother, Ronald Comeau of Arizona; sister Anita Dolan of Maynard; in-laws, F. Richard Shaw and Betty (Hyatt) Shaw of Boxford; three grandchildren, Brady Comeau, Alexus King and Alaina Allende.
 
 
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, April 8 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will be on Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Hilldale Avenue, Haverhill.
